Robert Brinkmann is President of Brinkmann
Constructors,
a company he founded in 1984. Brinkmann Constructors
specializes in retail, commercial and industrial
projects.
Today, the company is a leader in the St. Louis
building
industry with a reputation of innovation and
excellence.
The company ranks among the nation’s top general
contractors. Notable company projects include the
WorldCom headquarters in St. Louis, the Forsyth
Center in
Clayton and The Crescent in Clayton.
Robert is a member of the St. Louis Commerce and
Growth
Association serves on the Board of Directors for
Midwest
Bank Centre, Junior Achievement and the Regional
Business Council. He also serves on the Board of
Trustees
at Missouri S&T (formally the University of
Missouri-
Rolla). In 2001, he received the Business Person of
the
Year award from the Chesterfield Chamber of
Commerce.
Robert earned his degree in civil engineering from
the
University of Missouri-Rolla in 1971 and received a
professional degree from the university in 2001. He
is
a member of the Academy of Civil Engineers and is an
Alumni Association Achievement Award recipient.
Robert and his wife, Kim, reside in St. Albans, Mo.
