Personal Biography
Thomas P. Dunne,
Sr. was born in St.
Louis, Missouri. He has lived in the St. Louis
area all of his life. He
graduated from CBC High School in 1961 and then graduated
from Washington
University
in 1965 with a bachelor of science degree in Civil
Engineering. He has 43
years experience in the construction industry.
Upon graduation
from college, he began his career with Fred Weber, Inc. in 1965
as Field Engineer. In 1970
he obtained his Professional Engineer registration in the State
of Missouri
and that same year was elected Vice President of Construction
Division of Fred. Weber, Inc.
He then was elected Executive Vice President in 1978,
elected President in 1980 and elected Chairman of the Board and
Chief Executive Officer in 1986.
Tom has served
on a variety of boards which currently include the Saint Louis
University Board of Trustees, Regional Business Council, Missouri Baptist Hospital,
Forward Metro St. Louis, and Young Presidents' Organization
49'ers.
Tom resides in Chesterfield, Missouri. He has a son, Thomas P. Dunne,
Jr. who resides in O’Fallon, Missouri with his wife and six
children; and his daughter, Cynthia, resides in Warson Woods.
