On November 11, 2016 Officers from the St. Louis City Police Department received a call for shots fired in the 5000 block of Emerson at approximately 7:00 p.m. Upon arrival officers discovered the body of Andrew Wesley lying on the sidewalk suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Wesley was transported to an area hospital where he later died.
