At 10:00PM on May 14, 2009, Timothy A. Cherry Jr. was driving a friends burgundy PT Cruiser with three passengers in the car. They drove into the McDonald’s restaurant at 3800 block of Lucas and Hunt when unknown subject(s) approached and shot into the vehicle striking the victim in the head. The victim then lost control of the vehicle and it flipped over as the passengers tried to escape. Victim Cherry died as a result of this gunshot wound.
