On November 13, 2011, Antionette Wilkins was killed by a stray bullet in the 4000 block of St. Louis Ave. When she heard the shots ring out, she tried to take cover inside her sisters home, however the bullets’ penetrated the house. The shots were fired from a vacant lot across the street, approximately 50 to 60 yards away for the victim.
