Homicide Victim: Joe Anna Soptic
On Saturday, 08/31/2019 at 4:34 AM, officers received a call for “shots fired” in the 2700 block of Belt. The caller added that there was a vehicle on fire in the alley. Upon arrival, officers discovered a box van fully engulfed in flames. Fire Alarm responded to extinguish the fire. Located approximately 50-75 feet from the burning vehicle was the body of the victim Joe Anna Soptic, deceased, suffering a gunshot wound.
