On July 29, 2014 at about 2:00 AM Hoa Le was sitting in a vehicle near Rex’s Café, located at 6201 Michigan Ave. talking with a friend, when an unknown black male, 20-30 years of age, approximately six feet in height, weighing 120 lbs, armed with a long handgun approached the two victims.

On 12/04/2013 at 8:50 pm police responded to a call for Shots Fired the rear alley of 8549 Church. Police located the victim entangled in the chain link fence of the rear yard of 1016 Theobold.

On June 1, 2014 at 12:18 PM, police were called to the rear of 5109 Northland, for a deceased male with head trauma.

 On 12/21/13, at 11:51 police were called to Broadway and Switzer relative to a victim of a shooting.
Victim Cory Johnson was slumped at the wheel of a white Dodge pickup truck.  He died from gunshot wounds to his chest and head.

 
 
 
 
 
 
Linda Midyett and her husband were crossing the street in the 2400 block of North Grand on April 27th about 9:20 PM when they were both struck by an unknown vehicle. Linda Midyett was pronounced dead at the scene.
